Yeah, I look at the mountains right outside my back door and think about hiking them. I used to hike, kayak, and walk a lot. I have had many problems with my lower back in the past, but have gotten that straightened out as best as I can.

And, yes, I do think I could be stronger. I'm going to see about doing just that, but work up to it slowly so as not to injure my back again.

Actually, I think I'm going to get myself a bicycle. That would be the least strainful for my back, hips, knees, and feet. I have osteoarthritis in those places, and it hurts worse in the winter when it's colder like now. Three mildly bulging discs and spinal stenosis there in my lumbar, too.

I take supplements for the arthritis inflammation, and that helps a lot.

I do appreciate your word-up about getting stronger...heh, I'm pushing 60 now and I don't want to be a frail little old lady.

Yeah, but that's not going to make me stronger. I've been sedentary for too long - not flat on my back, though, I do work (driving) - and I need to get moving more.

I had 24 injections in my spine in the last 1.5 years and my bone specialist and I have decided I and he have done as much as can be done as far as he is concerned. I haven't seen him for nearly a half year now. Thank god for the supplements I take.

Getting myself physically stronger is now on my go-to list, for sure.

Feeling MUCH better than yesterday, thank you! I'm a little tired, little bit of a headache, but I just got some pan fried dumplings and hot and sour soup....dang, I got sooo hungry about 2 hrs. ago...harhar!
