I am trying to understand what Jesus is telling us to overcome here. Becuase if we overcome it then he keeps us from thr hour of trial that befalls on the whole world.

But there is another reward. He also makes these person or persons who overcome a Pillar in the temple or city of their God and THEY SHALL NEVER HAVE TO LEAVE IT AGAIN. Another words they won't be uprooted.

But what does it mean. Hold tight to what you have so no one takes your crown.

Crown would suggest glory. So do I hold my stocks putting faith in God that he will give me glory in this to plant me somewhere and not uproot me.

Isaiah says that I shall plant him as a peg in a sure place and in that day the peg will be removed or cut off.

But revelation is talking about becoming a pilllar not a peg. It could be the difference of renting or owning/buying becuase of obedience.

I don't think I can trade what little stock I have. I am hearing hold tight to what I have. That can mean the knowledge of obedience and faith but it could also mean some type of wealth to receive a crown. And God is saying let no man take your crown by holding firmly what you have.

I have to have faith in God on this.

You can trade. I dont have a lot to trade. So I will hold and just try to obey.
