Why do you need to do anything? Is it your charge to convince any and all who don't share your beliefs?

I get what you're saying, that you feel you need to prepare because it can happen in 3 minutes or 3000 years.

But that absolves you of providing any proof of the whole concept. You can just keep saying: soon... it might happen soon.... better be right with god.

That's still a tool or a mechanism to control others.

The event might not even happen, and you still keep the flock in fear of its consequences.

Okay, so you're calling on backsliding or lukewarm Christians to "wake up"...I have some problem with that, since it is a generic and relatively loose term.
Lukewarm or backsliding: really need to reference scripture on that or those terms.
But, "The Rapture is at the Door", I mean, come on, that just deflates the scriptures intention.

Physical death is much more likely than "The Rapture" in the coming days for some one reading your topic. Either their death or some one they know.

Why all the need to reference dreams and visions? Appeal to common sense: that life is short and to make sure your salvation is sealed.

Not all Christians believe in the pre-trib or even mid-trib rapture, and they have that right, it is NOT clearly pointed out in scripture.

What is clear in scripture is Christ Jesus is coming back to this earth.

I fear for you, that you maybe leading yourself astray.

I'll make a deal with you...after Christmas, and if, according to you, the rapture takes place, I'll write out an apology here on GLP, BUT if you are still here, you write the apology and agree to stop pushing the pre-trib rapture is close...Deal?

God has talked to me many times since I was a child. Later, I thought I was "psychic", but it was God all along. Finally gave up all that foolishness and directed the praise where it belonged.

I was shown things 10 days ago, and today, the date I was shown, I believe it started.

In my family, we were told only prophecies from God show true things-things that come true envisioned beforehand. And I believe I was shown the beginning of the final war.

It was the missile fired today the 19th on the border of the 19th parallel. I can't think of any reason to be shown that and then the mushroom cloud that is coming, which is somehow connected to/from that incident, unless it was meant to start the countdown.

I hope not, not because I don't want to go Home, but because
it is sad for all the destruction coming, and all the people killed.

I have a feeling and so do so many on here, that something is close, something is wrong.

Maybe our prayers can help in some way, and so that's what I do most.

This rapture business is just silliness. Serious people don't need to wake up. But rapture fanatics are incapable of waking up. They are missing their own real lives on this earth.

And when we're still here in 2061...what will you say then?

We aren't saved by works or anything we do, but by God's finished work on the cross.

The person who tells themselves that they are finally clean enough to be chosen has never read that part in the Bible where it says our works are like filthy rags to God. It is HIS righteousness and our acceptance of the cross and a relationship with Jesus Christ that matters.

So over time, yes, we will become more and more sanctified. But we will never be free of sin until we are with Him in new bodies.

I imagine some Christian somewhere walking around on eggshells and trying to be perfect and right as the Rapture happens they stump their toe and scream a few curse words. Then that trumpet sounds and they find themselves on the floor...Oh no. LOL. Not how it works.

If a person is living in constant sin and thinking constant evil thoughts and saying they are a Christian, they are lying to themselves. If a person loves Jesus and wants to follow Him but is not perfect, there is a big difference there. God says, get away from me, I never knew you...as in, you never had a relationship with me.

I hope this brings up the link...I posted on page 1, then updated again on page 2 when I found out the border of Yemen and Saudiarabia was also the 19th parallel..
