I've been stacking gold and silver for over a decade and I love it. Silver especially. Such a special quality about it. The look, the feel, the energy.

Earlier this year I was fortunate to have a small windfall. I'm into technology and very knowledgeable about bitcoin from both a technical and business perspective. I decided to split the funds between the two. Needless to say my bitcoin is up 15x (1500% even after so called carsh) and my silver is about even. Canada we have to give half to the government. Even when you sell for cash you should still give govt tax unless you want to be in a huge amount of trouble in 3 to 5 years for not paying. There are AI and ML tools mapping the bitcoin network now so you can quickly track who had it especially when someone puts it on an exchange after you sold it to them for cash.

I look at it this way, the only reason you have to pay capital gains tax is if you had a capital gain and that is better than not having a capital gain at all.
