The articles in the newspapers and on TV here in the US were the same ... 200-300 dead.

Surely there were some western eyewitnesses...reporters...

You'd think our government would have been all over this exploiting it....."oh those evil Commies and there abuses...look 10,000 dead....see how great things are here etc."

This information was suppressed because modern governments have objectives that are not served by truth, but by false pictures creating fake news and manipulating public opinion.

In the U.S., we heard about the massacre the morning after we heard about Ayatollah Khomeini death.

My sister called and told me that they were going crazy in Iran and I told her to turn on the TV and see what is going on in China.

Back in the early 90s I shared a house with a guy who'd fled China after Tienanmen.

His stories told that it was an atrocity, but it was clear at that point that the death rate was in the hundreds not thousands.
