Actually, logic dictates that you must be BOTH, if you possess even one of those traits. If you are omnipotent, then you can make whatever you want to happen (by definition). If you are omniscient, you could build a machine that would let you do anything you want. Think I'm wrong?

God most certainly DOES judge. Humans will even judge angels.

now this i can agree with due to several things...but also due to the judgments already going on by everyone on a daily basis.

Fact is, according to your bible, your god is a baby killing machine.

Bible verses follow.

God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21).

God orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each of 60 cities, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3).


god orders another attack and the killing of “all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses” (Joshua 6).

In Judges 21, He orders the murder of all the people of Jabesh-gilead, except for the virgin girls who were taken to be forcibly raped and married.

When they wanted more virgins, God told them to hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked, kidnap her and forcibly rape her and make her your wife!

Just about every other page in the Old Testament has God killing somebody! In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own church!

In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 people murdered.

The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16),

and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9).

This type of horrible sick criminal behavior should shock any moral person. Murder, rape, pillage, plunder, slavery, and child abuse can not be justified by saying that some god says it’s OK.

If more people would actually sit down and read the Bible there would be a lot more atheists like myself.

I am fully aware of the various Biblical verses which state that no man can see the face of God and live. However, there are also verses which say otherwise:

“And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved” (Genesis 32:30).

“And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle “ (Exodus 33:11).

“The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire” (Deuteronomy 5:4).

Since the Bible is the word of God, and since God is omniscient, the quoted words mean exactly what they say. The phrase “face to face” means, according to universally accepted definition, that the involved parties are observing each other, that is looking into each others faces.

I am waiting for someone to substitute their own personal interpretation for the words uttered by the Almighty Himself. It’s always a delight to have someone explain what God really meant to say but didn’t quite know how to say it. .

I am also waiting for someone to quote verses to the contrary. Contradictory verses do not, and can not, establish anything other then the fact of contradiction. Of course, if the Bible contradicts itself, it cannot be the complete, inspired and inerrant word of God.
