I even got some Coca Cola made in Mexico that's supposed to taste so much like the Coke of the old days, but it's also icky, just a different icky from the Coke they sell now.

OP must not have tasted Coke from back in its day, because what they're selling now tastes about like straight sugar water that's been colored brown, and it's fizzy.

You can buy it here, Made in Mexico, and THAT is the best Coke you will ever put to your lips. They make it with real sugar down there instead of high fructose corn syrup and it really makes a difference.

I don't know why Coca Cola can't make real Coke in the US anymore.

It is great. I love to TREAT my self to a FOUNTAIN COKE when I eat at Cracker Barrel or at a movie theater -

Now, my wife, drinks literally 8 or so a day of Coke Zero (no calories) and yeah.. it's no calories and all that, yet it's almost like crack if she does not have it... and growing up, both my parents were "Diet Pepsi" drinkers - and HAD to have it in the morning, after school (work), and at night... These are professional educators not EBT sugar high...

So, I find that interesting -

It's the people who drink "Diet" Sodas that drink more... and there's something in them, besides caffeine, that makes them crave it more.
