Adaptation is just evolution at a small scale. Plus, like I said before, single-cell yeast have become multi-celluar in a lab when separated from other microbes.

Yes and they always, and only, make more yeasts as they have for a million years.

Tiktaalik has the features of both advanced tertopodomorph fish and early amphibians. Is this just coincidence?

The multi-cellur organism would no longer be considered a yeast. It became it's own organism entirely separate from yeast.

Which ancestor of them do you want? There are hundreds of different fossilized animals of all those 3 animals.

I understand the concept of micro as well as macro evolution. If it's still the same creature it not evolution. Evolution is transcends the former creatures. Adapting is not evolving.

Paraceratherium is an extremely large rhino ancestor the around the size of an elephant that lacked horns.

Moeritherium is one of the earliest known elephant ancestors, and was smaller than a human, yet one could still clearly see the proto-trunk where it's nose was and teeth forming proto-tusks.

Anthracotherium magnum was a hippo ancestor from the Eocene period, much smaller and not as fat, but still clearly forming the basic shape of a modern hippo.

Evolution and adaptation are the same thing. Macro-evolution is micro-evolution repeated enough times that the species splits from it's mother species.
Dogs for example, come directly from domesticated Grey Wolves.

So what, zero reason to pretend they turned into elephants, hippos, or rhinos.
Pigs look like hippos, pony's look like horses, hyenas look like giraffes, so what?

D.N.A and the fossil record. Many of them looked very similar to them, and in the rhino's case, was considered a rhino. Just one that would evolve into the current rhino.

Not entirely. Everything matches, but that's because everything on Earth shares a common ancestors about 3.5 billion years ago. And a lot of times its less than 1%, nevermind 80%.

The Archosaur and Synapsid fossil trails aren't valid? Carnivora and Tertropodomorph fossil trails not valid? M

Yes. We have fossils (in the elephant's case a full one) of them.

We don't come from monkeys. That's a common misconception ;)

I already know where we came from. Apes. It's can be seen in the fossil record and in D.N.A. What difference does it make if we were created by God, Aliens, or evolved? I would be interested, but it would change my every day life.

Big difference. If we were created and put then there is a reason we exist. If it was a big bang then we have no purpose.

Yep here's your backup
"And God went on to say: “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth.” 27 And God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him; male and female he created them. 28 Further, God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.” Ge1:26

Pigs and Whales aren't extremely related, so their common ancestor predates the KT Extinction event, making them pretty rat like.
