This is why I love GLP. So many great ideas and ways to keep myself and family safe. We are getting a bit stir crazy with all the snow on top of snow mess. Kitchen sink is still frozen though. I’m literally down to a bathroom sink. My landlord decided Tuesday to rip out my bathtub. Now my bathroom is a mess and he didn’t come back today to put the tub back in. I’m getting pretty frustrated to say the least.

that was a good tip! i am now an avid runner and run every night for two hours, we have about three feet of snow and it has been averaging around 10 degrees F

I’m along Lake Michigan. We will be getting about 15 inches by tomorrow. I thythat will put us at about 35 inches. Roads are bad. I’m not traveling unless I have to.

I've never considered being snowed in and not having to go to work a problem. In fact, I see we're getting some snow on Sunday/Monday, so if I'm lucky...snow day!

You could do what I've seen a few morons do this winter and go for a bike ride. It's not bad enough drivers have to navigate treacherous roads, let's add a dumbass on a bike to the mix.

I am not from here. This is my second winter and last year was nothing. I think lots of people are getting a little too confident and it’s causing problems. A few pile ups already and highway 94 was shut down yesterday. This is all before the additional 15 or more inches we’re about to get.

You are pretty close to me. I haven’t seen any joggers lol. I have seen people on bicycles. You know what I haven’t seen? Plow trucks. Everyone is keeping on though around me. I’m gonna have to get me a snowmobile. Those look so fun and convenient.

we rarely get enough snow to use a snowmobile for more than a few weeks where i live, this winter will be different of course. spend the money to get a good one, because they break down all the time

Oh goodness they just increased our totals to 15-20 inches on top of about a foot already. I’m measuring two feet in my yard as of right now though.

I’m loving the suggestions to have sex. I wouldn’t mind that at all. What a way to get warm. However, my husband is a groundskeeper/landscaper and he’s been working 12 hour days. He’s a little exhausted so I’m hoping to get lucky. However with our water situation we’re kind of holding off for now. Don’t wanna add stinkines to the equation.

That sounds fun. Well not the plowing part. I’m really looking into snowmobiles. That’s how most of my neighbors have been getting to the store.
