How do you deal with people who dont pay their debts back to you?

Theres people you can hire that will put them on sex offenders list or issue warrants for them, tell them youll make it go away if they pay, but these guys cost a lot of money so only do it if you are owed a large amount of money

how much? if small amount then consider it a good price to get rid of him, if a lot send him a notice of legal action certified signature required.

I figure God thinks they need it more than I do.

When I have "loaned" people money, I've never expected it back.

You don't loan money to people you can't afford to lose. Otherwise, you are just setting them up to act out your aggressions.

I GAVE $600 to a neighbor who asked me to loan him money. He asked that I don't tell his wife. I never did.

I told him he didn't have to give it back, but that he could pay me back by doing work in return.. that he wash and wax my car (a little Taurus at the time.)

That was in 2007. Never did a thing for me. Nothing. I reminded him once then gave up. I figured out he's just a loser. By the way...I'm as old as his parents and he's perfectly capable of doing that work. He does it for a living at a body shop.

A friend owed me $100. We parted ways over it and we just stopped talking for about 6 months. I then ran into him and kinda acted like I did not see him as I was still a bit upset he stiffed me the $100.

The guy died a few weeks later and now I must live with myself.
I should have let the $100 go and kept the friend just never lent him money again you know...

Friends are more important than money. Remind him that you are still his friend. Just don't loan him money again. Simple.

If you can't afford to lose the money, don't give it to them.
Make it a gift in your mind and don't expect it back.
If they give you a gift back, fine. Otherwise that's fine too.

When it comes to friends and family, consider your lost loan the price you paid for valuable information. And that information is that the person isn't worth a shit and can't be trusted.

In the case of a business acquaintance, then take legal action.

In the case of a "street-level" loan, you need to send a clear message if you get my drift.

If someone needs to borrow money, that means they likely can't pay it back.

Every friend who ever walked out on a loan from me was exiled, and sooner or later they ended up miserable or in serious trouble with other entities (IRS, Banks, Police). Karma has its way. Even had a few come crawling back asking for another loan to cover the loan of another loan type BS, the maniacal laughter they got from me was worth the small amount of money I paid to them. To this day they are forsaken, always in and out of problems. They are now dead to me and they know it. However I somehow prospered ten fold.

A life lesson

Never give money to so called friends.

I wouldn't loan money to anyone I don't see in person on a regular basis. When I do loan money, I presume I may not get it back and prepare acccordingly.

How hard is it to ask for a loan agreement to be signed for amount plus payback date or payment plan.

Never give someone money and expect it back. Lots of shit people out there. No matter how long you've been friends. If you gave the person a significant amount of money, just go to small claims court.

Women loaning money don't count. They're "loaned" money from men 24/7 their entire lives. In exchange, they offer sex under the guise of an adult relationship (bf/gf, marriage, etc). Whores.

YAWN. I've never borrowed money from anyone other than a bank.
