Anybody out there hear of a thing called "Project Blue Beam"? Isn't it about time that an advanced form of energy came forward to replace this going on 200 year old electricity stuff? Then there was the "dignitaries trips to Antarctica and Buzz's strange Tweet. Put it all together or wait until it is all put together for you, it matters not which. In the end, you all shall see.... ' However, what is becoming increasingly common as Earths magnetic field continues to weaken (more than 15% since 1900) is that the noctilucent clouds are actually being seen at more mid-latitudes rather than just polar latitudes. They are super freaking cool and they basically glow up in the ionosphere a light electric blue. Please expect to see more of these ranging down to the central USA at an increasing rate starting in about 7 years as solar maximum begins to ramp up.
