Why do Catholics worship Mary?

You have to understand the concept of intercession in prayer. If you don't or won't, then forget it.

Catholics do not worship Mary.

You think "saints" are super holy men or women that Catholics vote into sainthood,

and therefore they can hear prayers in heaven, right?

You don't even know or understand that the word "saints" means "believers in Jesus Christ," right?

Okay, as far as I know, Saints are people who died for their faith. Like faith in God, Mary, Jesus, and all that. Most of the saints that I know are from the Catholic church because I am catholic and I only know the things that were taught to me. I am not sure about the other churches like Orthodox, etc.

Why do you want to know about the saints anyway?

I challenge any Protestant to show me where in the Bible it says "this collection of books is the only word of God". I'll wait.

Please show us a single verse from The Bible that indicates in any way that anyone should ever pray to Mary, angels or other people in heaven.

Notice how Catholics don't quote the word? Jesus is the word made flesh, stop worshipping in a dead pagan religion and start reading the word of God. " Open rebuke is better than a hidden love, faithful are the wounds of friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

Dead people don't intercede. And why would a person you don't know intercede in stranger's behalf before the righteous judgement by a righteous, all-knowing God?
