Catholics don't worship Mary, they have a tremendous amount of admiration and RESPECT for her in being the mother of Jesus.

Statues are a visual aid only , they are NOT worshiped ,they only bring to mind a particular saint when one is asking the saint to intercede in our behalf with God. As I see it the saints have graduated and we who are alive are students only. Then according to you then Jesus died for nothing. He died so that we NEVER had to go through men to reach God, and he became the sacrifice needed. Through him and ONLY him do we have access to the throne of God. He is the ONLY way to the father.
