Please share your reports (temperature and precipitation-type) with us. At this point, I suspect most of you are getting rain, unless you're in parts of Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Some mixing may occur throughout the early afternoon in regions we expect heavy wintry precipitation to eventually fall. The transition will occur farther north first, and then continue to work its way southwestward tonight (and into the early morning hours in our most southwestward impact zones).
Don't be tempted to think this winter storm isn't going to occur just because it may be in the 40s and raining. This is supposed to happen. Everything is unfolding, as expected.
