One person was killed and 99 others were injured after a massive storm hit several villages in Nepal's Kailali and Kanchanpur districts, authorities said on Friday. The storm hit several areas in the two adjoining districts at 7.30 pm on Thursday, according to the National Emergency Operations Centre. About 45,000 people have been evacuated in the southeastern Chinese province of Jiangxi due to ongoing torrential rainfalls and ensuing floods, the local agency in charge of emergency situations said. In some settlements, rescue workers use boats to cross the flooded streets.

As of Saturday, more than 50 buildings have been destroyed due to the rise in water level, with nearly 90 others seriously damaged. As many as 1,200 local residents are in need of relief assistance. The flood also inflicted significant damage on agricultural lands, affecting more than 37,000 hectares (91,429 acres) of crop areas...

My thoughts exactly. Starvation.

In our current system of providing/growing food.... no way in hell is it going to sustain a rapid growth of humans. We need to start growing food on a community level. Gardens on every roof, on every street corner.. It's the only way to future proof humanity. Relying on trucks, trains, planes and boats for food isn't going to work when there are 20 billion people on the planet with increased weather calamities and such. We need to teach self sustainability, which directly goes against the power construct these evil people in control have put into place.

How long till it takes us to reach 20 billion? My guess is 30-50 years

The volcano's activity continues to gradually increase. During the last week of May, intermittent small explosions and steam-and-gas emissions were recorded, mainly from the NE side of the crater.

During overflights conducted during 23-24 May scientists from the Colima University observed that a new crack or cavity observed during the previous week had widened and now become a hole due to the combination of excavation due to explosions and probable subsidence....

Volcano Eruption in Indonesia on June 09 2019 03:12 PM (UTC).


A column of thick ash was spewed 7km high into the sky from the crater of Mount Sinabung volcano on Sumatra Island of western Indonesia on Sunday (June 9), the country's national volcanology agency said.

The volcano began belching ash and smoke at 4.28pm Jakarta time, followed by a spread of hot ash to the southeast and south of the crater by up to 3.5km and 3km respectively, the agency said in a statement....

One of our forecasters snapped a few photos of the brilliant noctilucent clouds observed by many across the western U.S. last night. These clouds are the highest clouds in the atmosphere (~260,000-280,000 ft) & are only visible during twilight hours before & after sunset.

Just to clarify...this should read *before sunrise and after sunset*. In order to see these clouds, the sun must be BELOW the horizon.

it has been so cold (mid 40s) here in central Colorado that for the past two days, I had to wear a coat and gloves to do my chores - with the "wind/chill" factor it is freezing

its almost mid June ... WTF the winds are incessant

each day, I am more convinced that NASA was right for once, and that we are entering into a mini-ice age, caused by the Grand Solar Minimum cycle

obviously the grasses (plants) have been enhanced by all the Radiation in the air ... but it has had a devastating effect on the insect that we depend on to keep the Earth warm - I've had to pollinate my garden plants myself, last year, and no doubt this year too - due to the lack of insects

Wunter starts earlier and last longer each year - setting records --- the skys are packed with clouds, that hide the sunlight and they say it will continue to get colder for at least a DECADE

Smoke continues to fill the sky over a Brantford rubber factory after a fire broke out Sunday morning. Police say they were called to the North West Rubber at the corner of Henry and Middleton Streets around 6 a.m. The fire is believe to have started near rubber mats on skids sitting outside the business....

They're asking residents in the area to stay away from the scene due to possibly toxic air. Brantford Fire is also asking residents and businesses in the area to close their windows and avoid the smoke as a precaution.
