I missed the snow this year. Got down in the 30s just once. Going to be high of 80 tomorrow. Mainly been in the 60s last couple weeks. Been pretty beautiful down here

A storm that pummeled Brazil's southeastern coast early Tuesday caused landslides and killed at least 10 people.The deaths occurred in the cities of Guaruja, Santos and Sao Vicente of Sao Paulo state, according to a statement from its civil defence office. One person in the area remained missing.Brazil's southeast region has been punished by heavy rains this year, causing recurrent floods and landslides.

The worst instance came in January, when dozens perished in landslides in the interior state of Minas Gerais.
Some parts of Rio de Janeiro were flooded on Sunday and Monday, and several people died, according to local firefighters.

Further, state authorities said in a statement more than 5,000 people had been forced from their homes.Residents are growing frustrated, and one threw mud at Rio's Mayor Marcelo Crivella's head as he spoke to reporters on Monday.Moderate to strong rain was expected to continue Tuesday along Sao Paulo's coast, according to the civil defence office. ...

Cold air advancing toward California will allow for as much as a 15 degree-F drop in TEMPS from this Thursday through Saturday. 80 degree temperatures will drop to the mid 60s. Rain & snow could be observed, along with locally windy conditions over the favored areas.

Here is a look at the two major mid-range models and their output for the Central Coast next week. They are actually in good alignment. I think a range of .75-2.5" looks pretty good. As I always say with modeling, these outlooks will change and it is best to stay up to date.

Extreme Weather in Pakistan on March 07 2020 01:30 PM (UTC).


A fresh spell of heavy rain has wreaked havoc in Pakistan, killing at least 17 people, including women and children, while injuring dozens others during the last 24 hours, rescue officials and local media said on Saturday.

Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province was the worst hit by the torrential rain, where at least 12 people lost their lives in separate incidents, while several others were injured, Jawad Khalil, emergency official of the KP emergency rescue service Rescue 1122 in Peshawar district told Xinhua.

Owing to widespread rain, at least 10 houses and a school building were damaged, and serious damage to standing crops has been reported in the province,...

We experienced quite the cool down today!! Temperatures across the central California Interior are up to 25 degrees cooler compared to this same time yesterday, and between 3 to 6 degrees below average for the date. Temperatures will return back to average for Sunday.
