not sure if this is connected to hawaii missile alarm

yesterday, before work and through out the day, fighter jets were being scrambled out of the honolulu air port. Their afterburners were roaring as well. The patterns I notice is usually two or three jets being dispatched but this was abnormal. Through out the work day, my manager was also commenting that he kept on seeing jets landing and being deployed that day. Next thing you know there is a missile warning this morning. Curious and provocative.
