No one ever said the ancient Egyptians were black Africans. They were mediterranean types, not too different from who they are today.

There was a similar advanced civilization to the south in Nubia, contemporaneous with the Egyptians, who were also great builders. These people were black Africans.

Not new, can't be, there was a study done in the late 70s into the 1980s that said King Tutankhamen was Caucasian and black academia went GONZO, they couldn't handle it to the extent I think they buried it!
