Of course, they belonged to the Mediterranean race which is the originating white race. This is known fact, they didn't have sub-Saharan DNA which lacks Neanderthal DNA. All of the people out of the sub-Saharan area have a percentage of 4% Neanderthal DNA, either they are North African, European, Asian, Native American or Australian Aboriginal.
