Less and less people are participating thanks to Michigan becoming a right to work state. Even the ones who do still participate wont deny that the health of their pensions has a far brighter outlook than just years ago. Democrats have a real problem in manufacturing/labor states, and to my utter delight they seem oblivious to the fact. America was founded by tough hell-raisers. Rugged citizens who evaded taxes, spoke strongly against tyranny, grew tobacco, brewed beer, distilled spirits, and smuggled weapons. And it will be saved by those same types of citizens. |

Almost every other yard had some token of support for then-candidate Trump. this in a solidly democrap area..... very, very telling it was to see.
