Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. The woman who is not pursued sets up the doctrine that pursuit is offensive to her sex, and wants to make it a felony. No genuinely attractive woman has any such desire. - H.L. Mencken, In Defense Of Women |

Quoting: Cartel™ Police say the woman, a 49-year-old professor, became "unreasonable and irritated" when they told her she had too many liquids in her carry-on during a screening for explosives. The issue of too many liquids morphed quickly — by her own account – into a tail-chasing argument over her deodorant: They insisted it must go; she claimed that made no sense since it was a solid. It was approximately at this point that police allege she called them "f--ing bastards" and "f--ing German Nazi police." But she says she never called the police "Nazis." What they heard was her wondering why she caught flack instead of the "Nazi-looking dude" with a "Hitler's youth haircut" in line behind her. [link to www.usatoday.com (secure)] Hah!!!! University professors. Safe to say I know a few... What has always struck me with many... They are clever and have themselves been to many a University themselves. However in the vast majority of cases... They have NEVER been to the university of life and remain in a `safe and cosseted` bubble of their own making.... IF YOU HAVE A FEVER DO NOT LOWER IT WITH MEDS.... A FEVER IS AN IMMUNE SYSTEM RESPONSE TO A PATHOGEN (VIRUS, BACTERIA ETC..) IT MEANS YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM IS WORKING PROPERLY....DONT USE DRUGS TO LOWER YOUR TEMP. |
