SHOW ME THE FUCKING PROOF because my paycheck didn't get an almost $100 take-home increase. In the OP: WTF... where's my money then? This is some BS. I also feel bad for the OP with that Illinois SITW. I take it that's like my own Michigan/Detroit Tax that's taken out each paycheck? $203.93 - ouch... I guess I should be glad my state only steals just over $100 a paycheck from me. compare FITW withholding of 423.79 JAN 12th to 329.95 JAN 26th. And, yes Illinois sucks all the way around! real estate taxes are the worst!! In summary - The withholding changes are in effect now and will be reflected in your next payroll on January 30th. From a quick review, it looks like everyone's withholding have decreased, which will lead to an increase in your current net pay (this and other factors will impact your overall tax liability and whether or not you will receive a refund or owe money at tax filing time). |
