I don't know where you people are seeing all this extra money...
Here's what was taken out of my paycheck in taxes - December 31 compared to Jan 14:
December 31:
Detroit Tax: $24.63
Federal Tax: $332.79
FICA - Social Security: $137.68
FICA Medicare: $32.20
Michgian Tax: $81.66
Jan 14:
Detroit Tax: $24.59
Fedearal Tax: $332.12
FICA - Social Security: $137.52
FICA Medicare: $32.16
Michgain Tax: $81.54
So when it's broken down with actual taxes, I've only gained ONE DOLLAR AND THREE FUCKING CENTS. That'll work out to about $26.79 extra in my pocket each year.
