California teacher slams military members as 'lowest of the low' in classroom rant caught on video

A video in which a Southern California high school teacher is heard slamming members of the military as “the frickin’ lowest of the low” in a classroom rant to students has gone viral.

El Rancho High history teacher Gregory Salcido -- who also serves as an elected Pico Rivera city councilman and was once mayor -- even goes so far as to refer to those who are in the military overseas as failed students who had no choice but to serve, "Fox & Friends" reported Sunday.

“Think about the people you know who are over there,” Salcido is heard saying. “Your freakin' stupid Uncle Louie or whatever. They're dumb s - - - s. They're not high-level bankers. They're not academic people. They're not intellectual people."

“They’re the freakin’ lowest of our low.”

He is also heard questioning why military recruiters were allowed to visit the school.“We don’t allow pimps to come into the school,” he says.

This is a major issue in the western world; educators and public servants spouting their own personal hatred. there is no place for this in education. he should be fired immediately.

Besides that there is much less job prospects for them after graduation. And they know that after they are done with military they always can get some jobs with militarized police or work for private security firms.

The majority of people that join the military do so because their towns have limited financial prospects. Last time I checked there is a freedom of movement in US. The country is big. Nobody forces nobody to stay in one place especially a place with a high unemployment rate.

I was born in a rural, relatively poor area myself. Many kids joined the military in my class for that very reason. My family was probably more well off than most so I had the opportunity to go to college and eventually get my PhD.. I got lucky in that regard. Never understood why people look down on the military. They serve and fight so the rest of us don't and should be treated with the upmost respect.

We wear all these friggin night vision goggles and stuff and we can’t freaking control these dudes wearing freaking robes and chanklas.

In the Middle Ages The Church in England espoused non-violence, and obedience to "God"; IE, the church, and that led to noblemen adopting biblical study and obedience over martial prowess.

This is why the Vikings came, and why England was so easy to conquer.

And why did they target the churches primarily? All those "academics" were sitting on a pile of unguarded gold, given to them by those who believed that they could neglect worldly affairs for spiritual ones.

If there is ever a modern day viking invasion of America, you can bet California is the highest bet for risk/reward ratio.
