27 years as a teacher -- the worst kids are from single-parent households. Mothers make excuses for their bad- behaving kids out of "love," which makes the kid think they can do anything at all with no repercussions. They often wind up on drugs, in prison, or dead.

Most moms are good mothers. They make horrible fathers though. A father in the home provides structure and discipline.
