Single mothers are the strongest, happiest, and most self-confident of all women

They battle through sickness, exhaustion, no sleep, and do everything alone. They have the toughest time but are the happiest and are very popular on social media and have tons of friends who respect and love them.

When a childless woman gets sick she gets to have people coming over to pamper her and bring her medicine and soup while she lays on the sofa watching TV. A single mother doesn't get that luxury. Try being sick with 3 wild kids running back and forth, fighting, breaking things.

When a childless woman gets a lack of sleep, she goes to work, comes home and perhaps goes to bed a couple of hours earlier than normal to "catch up" on the missed sleep. Again, try having 3 crazy kids running amok and refusing to sleep until after 10pm. By the time the single mother gets her head down she's woken up again by the youngest having a nightmare and needing to be comforted which in turn wakes the other up, then the other won't settle back down, and on and on it goes.

A childless woman gets the chance to soak in a hot bath for an hour with a glass of wine at the end of the day without disturbance. No need to explain why a single mother can't even go for a pee in peace, nevermind take a bath.

When a single mother takes a job or goes back to school/college, she has to try to work everything around the school run schedule which is demanding. The employer or college may not be flexible. This involves a lot of running around and constant phone calls with employer. Again, a problem not faced for childless women or women with husbands.

A single mother has to manage her income to pay for rent, utilities, etc. But not only that, the meager income she gets must stretch towards kids clothing and food costs, school uniforms, shoes, bikes, toys, haircuts, and more. There is no comparison to what a single mom has to budget for compared to a mid 30s childless woman.

Single mothers have no time to go to the gym or to lose weight and so they have to deal with the constant alluding to their weight gain both from men and snide women alike. Childless women finish work and have all the time in the world to hit the treadmill.

I could go on and on here but it would take all day!

Yet despite all they have to deal with single mothers get up, put their face on, wear their smile and get shit done. You never see them begging for a man to come help them. Their self-confidence is off the chain. All the obstacles they have overcome have made them strong. If you talk to a single mom and ask them where do they get their admirable confidence and assertiveness from the simple answer they give every time is "well what choice to I have".

One of the biggest misconceptions is that single moms sit around and pine for a man or "big daddy government" to come help them. Nothing could be further from the truth. Every single mom I have ever encountered has been all for effort and reward. They do what they do and give not one single fuck if anyone judges them for it. They are not expecting any Prince Charming to come along and "rescue" them. This is a complete myth. Most single moms are the DUMPERS in relationships because they realize the guy will never live up to the high standards they have set for themselves and their incredible ambition. They don't settle. They take care of their home and their back pocket. A man is a nice addition to their life, a bonus, but in no way a necessity.
