A single mother is the WORST type of family for proper emotional development of children!  2 parents are definitely required for proper development but sometimes those just arent the circumstances for a variety of reasons. A single mother then needs to seek out Grandparents or other substitutes for role models. Too late. No father = undeveloped, dysfunctional child. Always.
