Bug out Bag or the GTFO of dodge bag planning
So anyone else doing this? I have been collecting bug out bag items for the last year to slowly build it up vs last minute crash into a store and grab and go.

So far:
12 man tent
lots of rope
fishing line
hooks
vac sealed rations (need more)
seeds for basic vegies to grow
Axe,pick axe,shovel
Machete, muti tool knife
Flint fire starter
Loads of aspirin
5 gal gas can
Pots,containers

Its all loaded in one area to just load and go currently.
This North Korean crap inspired me to just start prepping to bounce.

My destination is going for the Mountains and I am already 45 min from them.

Curious anyone else doing the prep to run from the area if shit goes nuts and what have you done to prep. Maybe ideas can help me out to ...maybe things I haven't considered would be great to take a long for long term living like this.
We are screwed, without faith.

Start with a metal pot, a machete, a fire starter and cordage (rope).

Then add from there, but atleast you'll be able to carry it.

I got an awesome deal on it is all. 50% off on that or I could get a shitty tent for fucking hobbits.

Only a stupid person gets a tiny tent. I have a wife and kid to shelter.

What about something to filter water? Maybe even some MREs, in case you've gotta do a lot of traveling without being able to find food.

You should get a three person tent in case you need to be stealthy while you're in the backwoods. Remember, many folks plan to flee towards the wilderness when tshtf

yeah, I thought about that. Though I may have fire and containers to boil it..i may not in certain situations.

I guess to add:
water purification tabs
first aid stuff (more of it)
Hand crank powered radio,flash lights

As for weapons I left that out on purpose. I have weapons. That is not an issue.

I think the G.H.B. Get Home Bag) shouldn’t be overlooked. I live in a sleepy town and am not going anywhere but it’s easy, even in bad weather, to have some gear if you can’t make it right home.

Re: Bug out Bag or the GTFO of dodge bag planning
you prep for the situation about nork.

well everybody knows that tents are great against radiation poisoning....ohno

and being up in the mountains only means you get more of it

:rere23:

never ever prep for nuclear war.
only if you have millions to spare, have a bigass tricked out bunker, and like living in a postapocalyptic negan-like world afterwards, only then its worth it.

i prep for pretty much everything except nuclear war and its aftermath(besides FAITH, welding goggles, whiskey and cigars)

i don,t wanna die last i wanna die first so i don,t have to see and endure all the misery before i draw my last radioactive dusty breath..
