My first very real Tsunami dream...

I bet they don't like to talk about it much.

I notice when people truly see something days ahead and real people die, it makes it very personal. Connecting the subconscious dream world to the disaster.

Doesn't mean anyone thinks they are part of it, guilty. But just having a closer association can be unsettling. If not at first, it comes out.



I think society as a whole has amazing prophetic abilities. Because millions of people making a guess as to how many beans are in a jar will come VERY close if not the correct number when all the guesses are averaged.

creepy topic because my 7 year old daughter was very upset about two weeks ago because she said she had a nightmare of a tidal wave coming from the Atlantic and moving over Florida, even in the center where we live.
she said it was so big, tall.
she grabbed onto me and we tried to hide before it hit us but there was no place to go.

i told her it was just a bad dream.


for myself i had a doozy of a dream many years ago of a mechanical beast creature standing in the water out in the Atlantic looking at the land and people.
it was like a gorilla/robot/gargoyle thing very tall and muscular.
ive never seen anything like it before or since.

Saw the same thing about a year and a half ago. Was running up a stairwell in some tall concrete building with a small group. Get to the top and out onto some kind of aerial walkway connecting to the neighboring building. It had large glass windows the entire length and everyone was just standing there in shock not saying a word as everything just washed away.

Right before it ended the picture zoomed out like taking off in a helicopter, I could see the peninsula with water flowing over it from the ENE. It zoomed out from somewhere in southern Fl.

Of all the crap my brain creates when I sleep this one was as real as it gets and still remember it all.

I was inside Miami International in my dream

and it was mowed down....

I've had dreams like this for a decade, very vivid! I live high up in a tower block, but imagine waking up to find the sea right up to where I live with only the tops of the very tallest buildings sticking out the water in the distance, with debris, cars, bodies, fires on top of the water, raw sewage, chemicals, really bad! I knew to avoid physical contact to avoid being electrocuted. Aware of people knocking on my door, but not allowing them in. The real problems begin when the water goes back down again.

What a day it’s been...

I've had a couple of tsunami dreams. One felt like it was just symbolic of personal issues I was facing, but the second dream did not feel symbolic.

In the second dream, I was here in Panama, and it was around Christmas time. There were Christmas decorations everywhere, and I was at the mall Christmas shopping with my husband.

I looked at a rack of postcards and saw that there were some that had the shape of several Latin American countries on them. As I looked at them, the pictures on the cards started moving, like each one had become a small video, and I saw a large tsunami hit each country at the same time.

I also saw the tsunami hit the postcard with the picture of Panama on it, and the wave engulfed about 60% of the country.

Then the people in the mall began running and screaming, and I knew the tsunami was coming.

Oh certainly, I think I didn't explain it right.

I mean after the fact. If someone had a dream that came true but didn't tell anyone, well, because it was a dream, it might still impact them.

Of course they are innocent, no fault at all. But the subconsious connection might create a subtle guilt.

Leading to the thoughts, "maybe I could have said this" or, "why was it shown to me?", or even just trying to find meaning behind it.

Of course, thats just me speculating, nothing serious.

Yeah, eyes are sore from reading previous classified memo pages intently.


Plus a lot of personal issues just love to rear their ugly head when we have the least amount of time and patience to deal with them. Never at ideal times.

I've only had two dreams that went so far that I actually died in them.

In the early 80's at the height of the cold war, when I still lived in the USA, I had a dream that I was in the kitchen and saw a bright flash. I looked out the window and saw that a nuke had gone off nearby. I became unbearably hot; the nuke cooked me to death.

In the second one, that occurred long before we had all these racial divisions, back when I did not even think about race, I dreamed that I was sitting at a picnic table in a park, which was near a small lake. It was a beautiful day, perfect weather, and I was enjoying the serenity of the natural surroundings, calm water, birds singing in the trees, squirrels romping, and a gentle breeze.

As I sat there peacefully taking in the wonderful surroundings, a group of 4 young, black males walked by. One of them looked at me and said to his friends, "I'm going to shoot this white bitch."

Before I could react, he pulled out a gun and shot me in the head. I felt the bullet rip through my skull, saw everything go red, then blacken. My thoughts jumbled. I lost control of my body. Then everything quickly faded out.

So true...

Woke up from a tsunami dream that basically leveled FLA

My apologies, you are correct. I agree with you, I do share my dreams. But it has been a looooong time since I've had any meaningful ones.

Not since the night I used Blue Lotus flower. IU had the most awesomest dream ever. Completely lucid, I knew I was dreaming and had a chance to explore and learn.
