More common would be an alarm for smoke/fire so, yes, up high... but then how does it sense CO2? |

Buy DUAL SENSOR smoke alarms and SEPARATE CO2 detectors. CO2 are meant to usually be plugged in into an outlet near the floor anyway, lower than your lowest bed in the house, so the CO2 level does not get too high and you are dead before it goes off. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73741414 If it were me, I would buy a dual sensor... Photoelectric and Ionization sensors. Also... Look for AMEREX fire extinguishers. In case of fire, you want something that works, not like Kid-die brand. |

I'm pretty sure that CO only falls when in a near vacuum state. If you have your air running or an actual fire, the air will be in constant motion causing CO to move about. it's not that heavy, just heavier than non-moving air. |
