Band Width (or what ever the proper term is)

Hi Trinity,

A couple of questions from us semi-illiterate computer users.

I have noticed that:

A . After about 5 minutes I am dropped from the members currently on line and active list.

B. Also if I take longer than about 5 minutes to research and write a reply to a thread, I am reduced to an AC unless I copy, refresh the screen, and then repaste before posting.


1. Exactly what is band width?

2. What percentage of your capability does each person on GLP use?

3. What activities use the most band width?
a, typing / posting?
b. Just reading?
c. Falling asleep at the ‘puter?

4. What is the best method to research and reply to threads if reply is more than an few lines:

a. Leave GLP while researching?

b. Open another window to research on?

c. Type reply on a Word Processor and then copy and paste to GLP?
