There are 3 races, 3. Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and Negroid. Where any of them came from is pure speculation at this point. Even the article claims that it is changing ALL of the time. The key is to understand the genetic differences between the different breeds/races. They were adapted to live successfully in their respective climates. Therefore, higher IQ was needed in some, longer more athletic bodies for heat distribution and aerobic activity was needed in others. Shorter stockier builds were needed for heat retention, etc. Occum's razor is a thing.

BTW, blue eyes require 2 recessive genes, one from each parent. Darker eye color is always dominant. Based on historical genetic understanding, darker skin and darker eyes will trump lighter and paler traits during conception. To have dark skin and light eyes is a genetic anomaly and would require extensive purposeful breeding to get those traits. They would not be consistent and have never existed before.
