The US Military has traditionally held parades too celebrate victories, there was 1 for WW1, WW2, Operation Desert Storm. ect.... It's nothing new, the question too ask is what victory are they so assured of they would schedule the celebration in advance?

Ever been to an airshow? A military parade would be awesome and IMO should be done every weekend. It would be a great way to honor those serving as well as veterans. They would be proud. It's not to show off.
