They also did not broadcast the faring deployment in real time. Could have been camera error - but what is currently being hosted as the "live" feed is quite different than what was actually broadcast live. Thousands of people commented on this in real time. Calling the edited video "Live" makes those comments look like they were in error. I can understand wanting to post a revised video if the broadcast went wrong, but even the thread on this site Thread: SpaceX Launch of Falcon Heavy Demo Flight This Afternoon! has comments that seem in error, when according to the actual live broadcast were factual. This could set a strange precedent that would could make skeptical people look crazy if they don't record and save live broadcasts while watching them. (not mine but I watched in real time) |
