God's judgments are always remedial - whatever is wrong with us, He intends to set right. He understands the mitigating circumstances, etc. None of us stroll through this thing in some kind of moral vacuum uninfluenced by hundreds of factors beyond our own choosing :)

"Being in heaven" is only temporary. . .ultimately, He's setting His kingdom up here on earth, which was the whole aim of the project from the outset. It's gonna be good.

4 For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

Heaven is temporary for believer's only. Those who have sinned are punished permanently in the lake of fire. Which is why you need a perfect sacrifice to cover your sins, Because All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. But God commended his love towards us that while we were yet sinner's Christ died for us. For whosoever believeth and call upon the name of the Lord for Salvation, shall be saved. NOT whosoever is baptized, or whosoever does last rites, or whosoever turns over a new leaf, or whosoever repents of all their sins. It's whosoever believeth! There will one day be a new heaven and new Earth and God will dwell with his people. Those who have rejected the free gift of salvation, offered by him through his Son Jesus, are condemned to the lake of fire and forgotten about.

Augustine believed that we would be between the ages of 30-33: the age of Christ during his time of ministry. I wouldn't mind being 30 forever -- that was my physical prime.

Yes, only 2 choices, heaven or hell. In heaven, we go back to the prime age, around 30ish.

If you die as a baby, or child, you are in heaven but slowly.

Last rites are worthless, no such thing as pergutory, and we all do answer for our actions while on earth.

b) Secondly, any "rejection" of Christ is also temporary - ultimately, every knee will bow & every tongue confess Him as Lord to the glory of the Father (Isaiah 45, Philippians 2. . .and are you familiar with Romans 10:9?)

He's counted the cost on this thing and isn't going to have to discard anyone like some loser who bit off more than he could chew, or some back-alley lawyer burning evidence of his failure. His sacrifice qualified as payment for the sins of all the world (1 John 2).

He's legally purchased this entire field and its contents. Per the Law of the Kinsman Redeemer, He is legally the Master of all mankind, whether we like it, dislike it, recognize it, reject it, whatever. Bondslaves don't typically have the freedom to sign off on who buys or sells them (they're slaves)

I did have a NDE but I was pretty young, good kid too...not much in the way of being an asshole to anyone---but i do remember thinking about loved ones at the time

relax---just trying to get some others' perspective on shit--give me your thoughts, I would really like to know

interesting that you say that---I had friend that nearly got killed in motorcycle accident---he was in a coma for 4 months, when he came out of it he said he went to Heaven and spoke to a son of one of his friends---turns out this friends' son died while he was in a coma...so he had no way of knowing that he had indeed died when he came out of it. When I relayed this story to another friend, he was surprised that both went straight to Heaven w/o going to purgatory

THey went straight to heaven because pergatory doesn't exist.

If you are with Jesus your mind keeps going

your body does not go to heaven... and heaven is inside of you.

Purgatory is Catholic hocus pocus to make relatives feel better when evil people die.

Probably helps the church get donations too.

No one can answer this for you dear. Live a life giving to others. Give your love, your compassion to all living creatures. Have empathy. Care.
You follow that formula during your lifetime, you can't go wrong.
Don't do it for a reason, do it because it's in your soul.

Purgatory existed before Jesus Christ died. Once he died you go straight to him or the other place. There is no more purgatory.

Some one please share some Bible verses that says we can go to Heaven?

funny, I just watched 1922 a few days ago, found it disturbing on a number of fronts, the main one is dragging his kid into that Hell

His son made that reluctant 'choice' and as you saw, had to deal with the consequences.

A few of my favorites

there is no hell,
only the most primitive stage of "beginnings" -which is right here where you are now-

and not all people are able to ascend to the higher realm because most take many lifetimes & souls to get it correct in order for ascension to be possible. (and some never get it correct)
these ones who are not able to ascend higher just constantly reincarnate right back here again in the beginning. and continue this cycle of lessons and trials over & over & over & over again,

and for the few who are able to finally ascend higher - their soul becomes immortal into a pure state of healthiness usually around the age of 28 or so

I would suggest reading the gospel of Nicodemus (Apocrypha) from what he writes he was given the eyes to see in the spirit the moment when Jesus Christ died on the cross and his Spirit went into the earth to remove those that were in the place of waiting or purgatory and take them to Heaven. It gives detailed view of what he saw. I read it, I think it was amazing.

Per 1 Corinthians 15, we get a new body. Read that chapter and ignore the atheists who pretend to know anything.
