The brain evolved after the first “eyes.” It simply allowed for the development of even more complex eyes. Most insects don’t have a brain, yet they still have eyes.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76230690

How did creatures with eyes but no brain think?
 Quoting: DGN

I don't know. You being one yourself, should be able to tell us best

I tried to figure that out but I couldn't think of anything so.... what's your point?

Exactly what prevents chemical reactions from creating an organism? We already have very very complex, life-like chemical reactions (Viruses and Viroids), what makes life different?

Lack of intelligent cause and correct effect. Every complex mechanism has an intelligent designer or there wouldn't even be atoms to start with.

Why do you have genes for a tail?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75814481

Because genes for a tail are the living proof of the process evolution and living proof of the counter process of devolution at work!

wow... it's like pulling teeth. If human DNA was created from scratch by an all knowing, all powerful intelligence, why do we have deactivated tail genes? The same genes that are present in mice and monkeys.

The same can be asked of the teeth/snout genes in chickens.

It's really easy why. If you were able to create Life, would you create strands of DNA for each living specimen or would you create one DNA strand that you can just alter minorly to create different animals.

Or.....you could create D.N.A that, when replicated, it has the possibility to create new, beneficial mutations, like what we saw in the CCr 32 delta mutation in humans, or the mutation that allowed an group of bacteria to consume nylon.

Bacteria has an immense variety because it's an entire domain of organisms. Every single organism can be placed in one of three domains;
Archaebacteria: the rarer, extremophile single cell organisms.

Bacteria: Most single cell organisms on Earth, arguably the most numerous group on Earth.

Eukaryota: Most organisms you see every day, Plants, Animals, Fungi, single-cell organisms with nuclei and complex organelles, etc.

I made it up? Nylonase is a man-made compound. Nylon-consuming bacteria would have to have appeared after humans.

"There is scientific consensus that the capacity to synthesize nylonase most probably developed as a single-step mutation that survived because it improved the fitness of the bacteria possessing the mutation. More importantly: The enzyme involved has been produced by a mutation completely randomizing the original gene. Despite this, the new gene still had a novel, albeit weak, catalytic capacity. This is seen as a good example of how mutations easily can provide the raw material for evolution by natural selection"

I sure do like the slick talking speculation/fabrication smoke screen proving evolution by confusing the fact the bacteria were already there millions of years, only nylon is new.

Re: Want to see the result of viruses causing cell mutation, as in Ebola, Sci-fy Cult of evolution?
It's a new form of bacteria, they had to evolve an enzyme (nylonase) to consume nylon. Trying to make an excuse doesn't change the fact not only did they have to evolve a new enzyme, but the fact that not only was it observed in the wild for the first time, but it was replicated in a lab by placing a different strain of bacteria in an environment with nylon to see if they would evolve nylonase to digest it. And they did.

Yup, get used to it. Christians are intellectually dishonest, cherry pickers and cowards. No matter what you say, they will twist and bend until it fits their twisted faith. When confronted, dodge, dodge again and make stupid baseless claims and foundation-less arguments. This happens because they're dead inside, trembling of fear of a malicious indoctrination. They live sad, guilty and miserably, thinking to be right from the top of their purposely limited knowledge. For knowledge is the only thing that can break the shackles they live upon. But these shackles are the base of their pathetic existence and if broken, their whole world will erode beneath them.
