No,dogs come from dogs, wolves make more wolves. If real creatures are the result of millions of generations of minute mutations there would be no specific creatures to connect the dots to. Nothing but a blur. You have to crayola in millions of in between creatures because none will ever be found. This is not an issue with evolutionists, start drawing.

Bad mutations that prevent the organism from surviving/reproducing will not be passed on. Good mutations will typically be passed on. You still didn't answer my question. The fossil record shows a sequence of hominins appearing that gradually become more human. ie: Australopithecus> Homo Habilis> Homo Erectus> Homo Heidelbergensis> Homo Sapien How is this not consistent with evolution theory? Isn't this exactly what a 'fossil trail' of gradual change would look like? There being zero fossils of the imaginary millions of generations of micro mutations upward inventing new species, just skip over that can connect the dots.
