You forget that the environment acts as a filter. Bad mutations that prevent the organism from surviving/reproducing will not be passed on. Good mutations will typically be passed on.
You still didn't answer my question. The fossil record shows a sequence of hominins appearing that gradually become more human. ie: Australopithecus> Homo Habilis> Homo Erectus> Homo Heidelbergensis> Homo Sapien
How is this not consistent with evolution theory? Isn't this exactly what a 'fossil trail' of gradual change would look like?

These are only some of the hominin species, and there are multiple specimens (over 100 in some cases) of each species. Explain what kind of fossil trail you expect to see in support of evolution, and how that is different to what we see here. The only thing I expect to see in a great hoax is a long trail of people forever searching for Professor Darwin's missing Easter eggs. D.G.N we don't need fossils. A few comments ago I linked an article on the mutations in a group of amoeba currently producing a photosynthetic organelle.
