Hawking dies on the same day as the planned National School Walkout. He was a professor who couldn't walk. The walkout is spurred by the school shooting at Majory Stoneman Douglas high school or MSD. MSD is also an abbreviation for musculoskeletal disease. Which is a condition that affected Stephen Hawking.
