Comic books and comic book movies are largely for kids and over grown nerdy man childs like the Simpson's character Comic book guy who sells comics to Bart and Lisa. Comic books generally don't appeal to most adults. Most people grow out of reading comics once they hit puberty and discover the opposite sex.
