The purchase comes as cryptocurrencies are making a comeback after a dreadful start to 2018. Major digital currencies lost as much as 50% to start the year as growing regulation and security fears crippled the market, seeing traders bail on their positions. However, the tide has turned. What are you talking about, repeating all of the proven false fakenews of the people who purposely crashed it in january? No one is cracking down, the USA government stated that it is the future and that they would regulate it to protect investors, like the stock/currency markets, China never said it was cracking down (it was discovered to be a hacked email account used to send a fakenews email), European countries said they don't care either way, etc, etc Don't fall for month old proven fake news man! The lightning network added to Bitcoin is a system of mini banking hubs that charge fees so what was that they were saying about bankers again and why is bitcointalk.org going into overtime with censorship of everything is running along smoothly. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75042311 But it has already been shown this was just a huobi exchange address. I'd also note that tether printed $60million last week, which is likely the source of the current push upwards. It'll stall soon unless they print more. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76103355 $40 million would pump it quite well. The market is actually quite thin -- certainly compared with the market cap, but even compared with published information on trading which is being manipulated by the exchanges (wash trades, etc). |

He has lavishly purchased items, like the Van Gogh for I think 600 Mil. Plus, I think, he's probably the only one that rich enough to have a stash like that.
