question on stillness of starsi
as we revolve around galactic center why stars look fixed in sky? do they move ALL with same seed / momentum than us?

Re: question on stillness of starsi
The solar system takes about 230 million years to orbit the galactic center one time.

So it only appears that the stars don't move or move with us because it takes such a long time, but they aren't all moving at the same speed or even in the same direction.

We just don't live long enough to see this happening. The positions of stars in the sky is barely any different now from how it was in ancient times.

Except for the north star which was fixed but now rises and sets because fuku meltdown screwed up earths orbit via demagnetizing earths core.now the north pole has a 30° wobble.yep japs fucked the planet up!

Thanks, indeed, have just found this after searching with right key words (closest stars) and will take 30000 years to notice just one place changed, due to the large distances involved
