If they try to hold the protest on school grounds and disrupt the entire school, then I agree with that; call the police and suspend them all. Otherwise if they do it elsewhere, just mark them as an unexcused absence from whatever classes they miss that day unless they can produce a dr's note. Same as any other day.

The local news media was here this afternoon talking to parents who were picking their kids up.
Our schools Facebook page had to be taken down because of all the negative posts from people who don’t even live here.
Even our schools PTA FB Page is getting bombarded, it’s still actually up as of now.
There is no telling how many calls the school got today

Nobody knew where Needville was until today and
I’m pretty sure tomorrow the local news will be stirring the pot some more.
