He's already come out in favor of restricting gun sales to 21 and up.

'I disagree with arming teachers,' Scott continued. 'My focus is on bringing in law enforcement. I think you need to have individuals who are trained, well trained.'

Florida 'will require all individuals purchasing firearms to be 21 or older,' Scott said.

He added that he intended to make it 'virtually impossible' for anyone with 'mental issues' to acquire a gun.
