That is a 100% true story. Judge decided when he saw a text admitting the kid knows where the gun and key are. And the police are on their way right now. And nope, this isn’t a trailer trash home. This is an upscale home with kids in private school. Nope, no threats were made against anyone or to any persons self. Nothing. And interesting enough, the local newspaper were waiting outside for comment. How in the hell they found out about the case is anyones guess. I was shocked the sherriff was headed to the home to get the AR15. Just because the kid had knowledge of the key to the safe. The kid is a good kid. Not a mean bone or mental issue at all. Just the fact that there was a text message that noted the above....and bam. Judge sent a sheriff to get the guns. Pay attention folks. THAT’S HOW IT BEGINS. "May the road rise up to meet you.... Dad died, things went south with the family from what I understand. The family was not allowed to see the kids...so then went after mom in court which is when the gun issue was brought up. Point is, there was NOTHING other than a text admitting what I noted above. But the judge, a liberal, decided that was enough to take the guns. Judges have alot of power as we are seeing via the appeals court right now. You all won’t hear these local stories, but my guess is this is going to happen more often now.
