All I can say is that the winter solstice thing is pagan, Jesus most likely was born in September. He was born in a barn, and from what I know animals in that barn had babies also, in Israel farm animals tend to give birth in the fall... Sure, lots of Christians would love this to be true, but ALOT of Mark Taylor's good times ahead prophesies are contrary to what the bible teaches, especially end times prophesies as revealed in the books of Matthew, Daniel and Revelation. I have to wonder: How many books did the Catholic Church hide from us?? We know about several, but how many more were there? What did they alter in the translation to Latin, and then what touches did King James apply in his translations? It's those very questions that have recently led me to translations of the New Testament from the original Aramaic Peshitta texts. Aramaic was the primary language spoken by the Lord and his disciples. Many believe the Aramaic texts were first translated into Greek and then into Latin. I thought if I went to the source, before the Church of Rome got involved, it could provide new insights. BTW, Aramaic was the "common" language spoken by most, with Hebrew being used by the educated class. Jesus and his disciples spoke both languages.
