My thought on this is ....one harvests when the crop is mature and ripe and ready for the picking. Any sooner is a waste. God is waiting for this particular crop to ripen and then he'll make a good day's work out of reaping! Ha!

The davidic kings had absolute power over the kingdom and vowed to serve God in all ways, the queens were the mothers(not the wives) of the kings.
The davidic queens could ask anything of their kingly sons and in most cases they would say yes, the queens were powerful because their sons were powerful.
God made a promise to David the king of Jerusalem, that the Messiah would be the "Son of David" and that the Messiah's reign as king would never end.
This means that now, in the New Testament, the davidic kingdom continues with Jesus as King and with Mary as Queen.
The Church is a theocratic monarchy.

Now where does the Papacy come in? In the davidic kingdom there were also prime ministers, and in the absence of the kings they would take full power and lead the kingdom until the return of the kings. They became vicars of the kings. The Popes are the new prime ministers, and they have full power.
The opinion of the Pope, when put forth boldly, is superior to anything our presidents may say, our allegence is first and foremost to our true kingdom. Our individual nations come second.
Sometimes the Popes do not give opinions, but infallible declarations, that is when they speak ex cathedra, inspired by God to say the words of God like the writters of the Bible.
The Popes are the Vicars of Christ.
The Kingdom of God, as an organisation, is a Kingdom indeed and not a Democracy.

This is why Luther's overly democratic doctrines, although not entierly false, are not in sync with God's Word.
Sola Scriptura is not the way to go, you've seen it already with the great number of Protestant denominations all claiming to follow the Bible only, in 500 years we now have 30.000+ groups all claiming to not follow the words of men, if it was a good model then God would have left us with a Bible instead of Apostles.
But God did not do that.
Sola Ecclesia, and more specifically Sola Ecclesia Romanus, is the way to go.

The Vatican killed people who dared to possess a copy of the Bible. Murdering millions by burning them at the stake, promoting homosexuality, allowing pedophilia, and even telling atheists they will go to heaven also. This is the fruit of the beast and it serves no one except the dragon. Please wake up. If you are their agent and you believe Lucifer is the good guy and Jesus is the bad guy, please wake up before it's too late.
