A "major incident" was declared at a Salisbury hospital on Monday morning and its Accident & Emergency unit forced to close after two patients were exposed to a deadly opioid.. The fire service was called to decontaminate the emergency department at Salisbury District Hospital, Wilts, where several casualties were treated by paramedics. A number of other locations in Salisbury were also cordoned off.

Wiltshire Police said in a statement: "Wiltshire Police and partners have declared a major incident after it is suspected that two people have been exposed to an unknown substance in Salisbury. A specialist chemical response unit removed the unknown substance, wrapping it in several protective layers. Police said it would be destroyed, along with the protective suits.

An opiod, that powerful, is a scary thought indeed.

Boris Johnson already threatened to pull England out of the World Cup in Russia this summer but he already backtracked due to ridicule and now says he only means ministers. Then there are mutterings about the royals snubbing the tournament like Putin would care about that. Experts are now warning Russia could rig England player drug tests. Sky have an ex-intel agent on saying it is highly suspicous that the decontam units were setup so quickly and suspects they knew it was going to happen in advance. Sky also seem to know that the nerve agent has been identified but they are not telling us yet.

Personally, I think expect the unexpected. Someones stiring. Would be interesting if it is VX again. Or soneone with a grudge about "rigged elections".
