its not that easy. It would require vote of 2/3's of the states voting in favor. Potus cannot do it himself. Amendments are very hard to change

I ask this cos i love americans, i believe in your rights and you must stand by them. But i can see this leading to a mass loss of life, if military open fire on those who do not hand over.. But then again if you open fire back, yeah they lose too.. I dont think many understand how much of a huge deal this is for the Usa and the people. They can't change the Constitution without 2/3rds of the States ratifying the change. An EO wouldn't do it. Any law to ban certain guns wouldn't do it. "...shall not be infringed." will have it held up in the court system for eons before a shot is even fired. If they do press the issue and try confiscation THEN due process, they will have a serious fight on their hands.
