i did not know i was eating flesh until i was 5 years old and eating a drumstick on my dinner plate ....i noticed the veins and asked my Mom if (pointing at the veins) were the same as this (pointing to the inside of my wrist), she said, "Yes." my response was i don't want to eat it then.

was told i had to eat it, bc i needed it. i kept refusing. my siblings still remember the incident. i was forced to eat it, but my parents didnt know different and were doing what they thought best for their kid...it is NOT natural and we are NOT supposed to eat flesh.

after that i wldnt pick known flesh to put on my plate, but it wld be given to me and i took to just peeling the skin off (like w chicken) and eating that to hopefully satisfy my parents, but it usually didnt work.

my brother turned vegan later in life and it helped his health, he has backslid into eating some cheese (pizza), but overall i think working back to being vegan ... i went back to veg for awhile too, and am almost all the way back to vegan again ... felt the best health, most endurance, strongest in all ways, physical, mental, spiritual wise as a vegan.
